Illiana Boys Tennis Building Depth

0Comments

The Illiana Christian boys tennis team is working to establish depth and competitiveness as it takes on a challenging fall slate.

The Vikings return several varsity players who provide leadership and consistency at the top of the lineup. Younger athletes are being asked to step into bigger roles, with coaches stressing fundamentals and mental toughness during early-season practices.

Illiana has placed a premium on doubles play, where communication and chemistry can often make the difference in close matches. Players have worked to develop trust and strategies that maximize their strengths against quality opponents.

The Vikings see every match as an opportunity for growth. Coaches believe that consistent improvement in footwork, conditioning and shot selection will prepare the team for postseason competition.

With returning experience and new energy, Illiana is building a program that values both development and competitiveness. The season ahead is about testing themselves against strong competition and proving they can rise to the challenge.
