The Illiana Christian girls wrestling team competed in a triple dual event on Tuesday night, facing off against Munster and Lake Central. The event took place at Munster High School in Munster, Indiana.
According to the results, the Vikings were defeated by Munster with a score of 54-30. Despite the loss, the team demonstrated growth across several key matchups throughout the evening. The meet occurred on November 11.
Illiana Christian secured multiple individual victories, including hard-fought pins and point wins that highlighted their progress since the season’s start. The team’s lineup showed improved positioning, quicker transitions, and better control on the mat. While there are still areas for improvement, such as timing and leverage, the team is gaining confidence with each competition. The meet offered valuable early-season experience against programs known for their depth and physical style, laying a strong foundation as Illiana prepares for the midseason stretch.
