Illiana Christian’s boys and girls cross country teams concluded their fall season at the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Regional meet. The boys’ team secured 17th place overall, while the girls’ team finished in 12th position amid a competitive field.
The event occurred on Saturday, October 25, at New Prairie High School and featured top runners from across Northwest Indiana.
Mason Drost led the Vikings on the boys’ side with a 41st-place finish. Meanwhile, Danni Dodge paced the girls’ squad, finishing in 44th place. Both athletes ended strong seasons characterized by consistency and hard work.
According to coaches, Illiana also celebrated several All-Conference honorees from its cross country program. They highlighted the team’s overall balance and depth. The coaches credited their runners for steady improvement, discipline, and their ability to remain competitive throughout the season.
