Illiana Christian secured a decisive victory on Monday with a 52–21 win against Heritage Christian in a non-conference basketball game.
The match took place on December 2 at Heritage Christian High School in Indianapolis. According to the game report, the Vikings maintained control throughout, utilizing defensive pressure and effective ball distribution to establish a commanding lead. Senior guard Sienna Eenigenburg orchestrated the offense with poise, ensuring Illiana remained organized under pressure. Senior forward Ellyson Oeverman was instrumental inside, securing rebounds and making crucial finishes near the basket. Additionally, senior guard Jaylyn Podlin provided a dependable option on both ends of the court. Sophomore Lauren Paliga, who had delivered an impressive performance earlier in the week, added scoring and defensive contributions while expanding play on the wing. Illiana Christian’s defense limited Heritage Christian to just 21 points, concluding a dominant away performance.
