Illiana Christian High School’s girls’ golf team recently participated in a tri-match against Valparaiso and Portage, securing a second-place finish with a team score of 221.
According to the match results, Valparaiso led with a score of 185, while Portage finished third at 231. Illiana Christian’s consistent performance enabled them to surpass Portage and claim the second position on the leaderboard.
The outcome underscored Illiana Christian’s capability to compete against strong programs and demonstrated their progress throughout the season. Valparaiso set an early pace with its leading score, but Illiana Christian maintained focus and delivered a solid performance to secure their position.
