Illiana Christian’s girls’ soccer team demonstrated dominance on both ends of the field in a 10-0 victory over Bishop Noll.
The game took place on Saturday, September 27, at Illiana Christian High School. The Vikings quickly established control by scoring multiple goals in the first half, effectively putting the contest out of reach early. Senior forward Ashlee VanderMeer led the offensive charge with three goals, completing a hat trick. Senior Sienna Eenigenburg contributed two goals, maintaining her consistent scoring performance.
Illiana also benefited from contributions across its roster. Alex Cruz, Evelyn Julian, and Adelia Eriks each scored once, while Jaylyn Podlin added two goals to complete the attack. The balanced scoring highlighted Illiana’s roster depth and its ability to create opportunities from various positions.
Bishop Noll continued to compete energetically but struggled against Illiana’s organized defense. The Vikings maintained possession throughout the match, limiting Bishop Noll’s opportunities and preserving the shutout.
