The Illiana Christian Vikings lost to the Chicago Christian Knights 3–0 in a varsity boys volleyball non-conference match.
The Vikings were defeated by the Knights in straight sets, with scores of 15–25, 18–25, and 20–25. Despite the loss, Illiana Christian showed effort throughout the match, competing in each set against a consistent and disciplined attack from Chicago Christian. Sam Kramer led the Vikings with 13 kills, providing a steady offensive presence. Jacob Rozendal contributed 14 assists to help facilitate scoring opportunities. Nate Turkstra anchored the defense with four digs. Jon Vander Woude added two kills on limited attempts, contributed a block at the net, and delivered a perfect serving performance on six attempts without an error. Despite these efforts and balanced contributions, Illiana Christian was unable to overcome Chicago Christian’s consistent execution, according to MaxPreps.
Looking ahead, Illiana Christian will host Hebron in another non-conference match on April 13 at Illiana Christian High School, as reported by MaxPreps.
