The Illiana Christian Vikings lost to the Chicago Christian Knights 3–0 in a varsity boys volleyball non-conference match.
The match took place at Illiana Christian High School and saw the Vikings fall in straight sets (15-25, 18-25, 20-25), according to MaxPreps. Despite the defeat, Illiana Christian showed effort throughout the contest. Sam Kramer led the team with 13 kills on the season. Jacob Rozendal contributed with 14 assists, helping facilitate the offense, while Nate Turkstra added defensive support with four digs. The Vikings continued to compete in each set but were unable to overcome Chicago Christian’s consistent attack and control at the net.
Looking ahead, Illiana Christian will host Hebron in a non-conference match on April 13 at Illiana Christian High School, as reported by MaxPreps. The last time these teams met, Illiana Christian defeated Hebron 3–1 on March 25, 2024, at Illiana Christian High School.
The Vikings will aim to build on their previous performance against Hebron as they continue their season.
