The Illiana Christian High School Vikings boys basketball team was defeated by the Munster High School Mustangs with a score of 67–50 in a non-conference game.
The game occurred on December 5 at Illiana Christian High School. According to reports, Munster established momentum early with double-digit scoring in each of the first two quarters. Illiana Christian rallied in the third quarter, posting 24 points to reduce the margin before the Mustangs pulled away again late. The Vikings received contributions from senior players Eddison Zandstra, Lucas Reidelbach, Josh Bultema, and Grant Rappold, who helped fuel the offensive push during the second-half surge.
Looking ahead, Illiana Christian High School is set to host Highland High School on December 15. The last encounter between these two teams saw Illiana Christian travel to Highland on December 16 last season, where they narrowly lost with a score of 62–59.
