Illiana Christian’s varsity volleyball team secured a dramatic five-set victory on Tuesday night, overcoming Bishop Noll in a match that kept fans engaged until the final point.
The Vikings began with a strong 25-19 win in the first set. However, Bishop Noll responded by leveling the match with a 25-17 decision in the second set. Illiana regained momentum in the third set with a 25-18 win, but the Warriors pushed back to force a decisive fifth set by narrowly taking the fourth, 25-23.
In the final set, both teams exchanged points in a tense finish. Illiana Christian maintained composure down the stretch and secured a 15-13 victory to clinch the match 3-2.
