Illiana Christian’s varsity baseball team enters the upcoming season looking to build on a successful 2025 campaign in which the Vikings finished 18-6 overall and a perfect 10-0 in Greater South Shore Conference play to capture the league title.

The season took place during the spring of 2025 in Dyer, Indiana, where Illiana Christian posted an 8-1 record at home and 10-4 on the road.

The Vikings relied on dominant pitching and timely hitting, scoring 214 runs while allowing just 64. Illiana Christian recorded numerous lopsided victories, including wins of 31-0 over Calumet New Tech, 23-0 against Wheeler, 16-0 over River Forest, and 16-0 versus Whiting. The team also secured quality wins against Chesterton, Highland, Mishawaka Marian, and Andrean, including a narrow 5-4 victory over the 59ers. Several games were tightly contested, highlighted by 2-1 wins against Boone Grove and Westview and a 1-0 shutout of Hobart.

Illiana Christian closed the season with a postseason appearance but suffered losses to Andrew and Hanover Central. Despite those setbacks, the Vikings finished ranked No. 58 in Indiana and demonstrated strong consistency throughout the year.

Illiana Christian will open the 2026 season at home against Boone Grove on April 9 at 4:30 p.m., looking to defend its conference championship and make a deeper tournament run.
